White Bronze Monument Tour

Saturday June 1 join me and the Oshawa Museum for a tour of Union Cemetery in Oshawa focusing on white bronze monuments. Nestled among the marble and granite markers you will see several distinct bluish-grey monuments. Manufactured by the Monumental Bronze Company of Bridgeport Conn. these monuments are actually made of a refined zinc and not of bronze. Learn about these fascinating monuments in the second of a series of cemetery tours hosted by the Oshawa Museum. Tour starts at the front cemetery gates at 2 pm. Tickets are $5/person and can be purchased ahead of time at
